Running the protocol usage report....one of the columns says unknown bytes. What does it mean by unknown bytes?

In the log files from the PIX there are 2 lines for each connection, the first line says if its incoming or outgoing (amongst other things) and the second line includes how many bytes were sent or received. Unknown Bytes are when ReportGen didn't find the first line so it doesnt know if its incoming or outgoing, therefor its Unknown.
